Born Into Business

Born into a third-generation Chinese family business, Jenny grew up watching her father and grandfather build their family business empire. She spent her summers at their side since middle school, visiting clients, learning the hustle. From the outside, it looked like the perfect life.

But there was an unspoken rule: real power belonged to the men.

 

"I grew up surrounded by male cousins and brothers expected to inherit everything. I realized early — if I wanted ownership of my life, I'd have to build it myself."

At 12, she left home for a military-style boarding school. At 18, she moved to Japan alone, starting from zero with no network, no safety net, and no one showing her the way.

She earned a Master's in Computer Science from Kyoto University — one of the top institutions in Japan, the only woman in a class of more than 40. Being underestimated became familiar. It also became fuel.

What She Built

At 25, she became Director of Growth Marketing at Japan's largest internet company — reporting directly to the CMO — and scaled a new product from zero to 4 million users in just six months.

At 27, she joined one of the world's leading strategy consulting firms as its youngest female director. In rooms full of senior men who looked past her, she let the results speak. In just three years, she went from hitting 10% of her sales targets to closing multi-million dollars deals per year and the backing of C-suite leaders in headquarter who'd seen what she could do.

Today, she owns seven-figure businesses that give her what she always wanted — financial freedom, and full control of her time.
